Pick the Right Photo First

AI cutout works best when the subject is clearly defined:

  • Subject and background should differ — in color, brightness, or blur. A person against a same-color wall is unfixable for anyone.
  • Edges need information. Backlit hair with every strand visible is a great input; mushed hair is just guesswork.
  • Don't go too low-res. Upscaling a tiny image before cutting magnifies the jaggies.

Transparent or White? Decide Before You Cut

Same cutout, two different jobs:

  • Transparent (PNG): for design work — drop it onto posters, slides, or any product-page color.
